Adoption Program
New Beginnings requires
the following in order to complete the adoption process.
Pre-Placement:
Placement:
- Transfer of Ownership
Contract
- Transfer of Medical
Records
Post-Placement:
- Adopters Name added to
Microchip DB
- 2 Facility Inspections
within 1 Year
Adoption Requirements:
1)
Horse Can Never Be Used For
Breeding Purposes
2)
New Beginnings Must Remain On
The Microchip DB
3)
Basic Veterinary Maintenance is
required
4)
If Not The Right Fit, The Horse
Must Either:
a)
Be Returned to New Beginnings
b)
New Owner Must Go Through The
Same Process As Adopter
Fostering:
- Due to the fact that
New Beginnings will be unable to track the
rehabilitation of each animal through a fostering
system, this is currently not offered.
